Jacksonville, St. Augustine School Packages

Dear Teachers,

Tour Time Inc., Best Western ,  Dave and Buster’s, and  River Cruises, have teamed up to offer you some great packages. The four individual companies have been working with school groups since 1995.

Between the cost of hotel prices in the St. Augustine area and the rising cost of transportation, we thought some savings were in order. Therefore, we would like to offer our "Jacksonville, St. Augustine" tour packages without the big bite.

The package will include the following Two Day, One Night Stay

Day One:

Arrive in Historic St. Augustine for lunch on your own (depending on your departure area and time lines this could be your literary. We will be happy to develop an itinerary according to your specifications.) We have arranged for your group to have their very own St. Augustine escort that will show you all of the local eateries for adults and children. Your group also has the option to bring a picnic lunch, which is always an exciting and memorable option to have lunch on the greens outside of the fort, overlooking the water.

After lunch, your group will:

Tour  Castillo de San Marcos, Building of the Castillo began on October 2, 1672, and was almost complete by 1695 (our nations oldest monument) Historic Villages, choice of 3 one-hour hands-on programs. Choose from Spanish, Native Indian, or archeology (or do all three). This will teach the children what it was like to be a child in 1565 Light House Museum (all children will get a certificate saying “I climbed all 219 steps”). Flagler Memorial Church, built in 1890. This church was built in 361 days and is the only one like it in the United States.

Next, your group will head to Jacksonville and check into The Best Western Hotel JTB/Southpoint.

Dinner will be served at Dave & Busters. (Dave and Buster’s would like to remind you that we do have a minor policy, Anyone under 18 years of age, must to be accompanied by an adult 25 or older. Each adult can escort up to six (6) children).

While dining, your group will enjoy a lesson in history with our mystery dinner theater. Synopsis as follows:

Florida history comes alive as students interact with historical figures and helps solve a mystery with the D&B Mystery Dinner Theatre. This exciting and fun educational event not only gets students involved in the action, but also makes learning entertaining.

Once the show has concluded, the students will have a chance to enjoy the Million Dollar Midway and play some games.

 Day Two:

On this morning, you will enjoy breakfast in the Sawgrass Room at the hotel. After breakfast, you will meet your escort and head downtown Jacksonville to enjoy the following
